MERCon 2021, the 7th International Multidisciplinary Engineering Research Conference  was held from 27 - 29th July, 2021, as a virtual conference

Moratuwa Engineering Research Conference 2020 (MERCon 2020), the sixth international conference organized by the Engineering Research Unit, University of Moratuwa, was held as a VIRTUAL Conference from the 28th of July till the 30th of July 2020 successfully

5th International Multidisciplinary Engineering Research Conference was successfully held from 

July 3 - July 5, 2019

MERCon 2018 was successfully held between May 30 - June 1, 2018 at the University Premises. This year's conference included 107 papers, 6 posters, 8 workshops, and 4 keynotes. See MERCon website for details.

A 3-day workshop on research promotion was held on June 2014. It was designed to impart knowledge on research design, methodology, tools, scientific writing, and publication process in postgraduate students of the university.

19th ERU Symposium was held on Nov 26, 2013 at the Civil Engineering Complex, University of Moratuwa.

Mini-ERU, the Undergraduate Research Symposium, was held on June 27, 2013 at Research Centre of Department of Civil Engineering. 31 oral presentations and 58 posters were published in the proceedings.
