The Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Moratuwa, successfully celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year with “Trical Udanaya 2026”, held on 1st May 2026 at the Sumanadasa Courtyard, bringing together undergraduates from the 21, 22, 23, and 24 batches along with the academic staff.
The event featured a variety of traditional New Year games and entertainment items, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere within the department. Students enthusiastically participated alongside lecturers and academic staff, whose active involvement added excitement and warmth to the celebration.
Trical Udanaya 2026 reflected the unity, culture, and vibrant spirit of the Department of Electrical Engineering and EESoc, making it a memorable occasion for all participants.
