Electrical Engineering Society (EESoc) of the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Moratuwa, took the lead in initiating a program to renovate the school laboratory of Kelegama Kanishta Vidyalaya in Nikaweratiya. That school is located in a very rural village with lack of many of the facilities. The renovation was successfully commenced on 21st December at the school premises with the presence of Dr. Thushara Rathnayaka, Dr. WD Prasad and few more executive committee members of the society. Department of Electrical Engineering could turn a hope of 175 students to a reality with the generous contributions of many kind hearts of the society.
