The Department of Electrical Engineering is proud to announce that the final year undergraduate project titled “Automated Volt-Var Control based on Predictive Analytics,” supervised by Dr. W.D. Prasad and Dr. C. Pathirawasam, has won 3rd place in the Annual Research Award for the Most Outstanding Undergraduate Energy Research 2024. This prestigious award was presented by the Sri Lanka Energy Managers Association (SLEMA).
The Department extends its heartfelt congratulations to Dr. W.D. Prasad for his outstanding achievement in guiding this project to success.
