The final report of “Safety and Technical Management Plan of Electricity Licensees” to ascertain the Safe Electrical Practices in the Electricity Sector was handed over to the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka by Dr. Asanka Rodrigo. Representatives from CEB and LECO were also present at this event.
At the request of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka, this report was prepared by Dr. Asanka Rodrigo in collaboration with the Amithi Power Consultants (Pvt) Ltd. The report describes the safety practices, maintenance programs, and administrative procedures that the licensees in the electricity sector should follow. It also introduces safety indices and set a layout for the “Safety and Technical Management Plan” for all the licensees in the electricity sector.
