Chanupa Hansaja Vithanage and Geeganage Senuja Dilmith from Batch 23 of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Moratuwa were part of Team GMora, which secured the 1st Runner-Up position at the Cosmotron Rover Simulation Competition.
The competition was held alongside the Rextro Exhibition, organized by the University of Ruhuna and SEDS Ruhuna. Team GMora developed a deterministic rover system featuring autonomous navigation, intelligent perception, a modular finite state machine architecture, and a 6-wheel rocker-bogie suspension system.
This achievement showcases the technical excellence and innovative capabilities of Batch 23, bringing pride to the Department of Electrical Engineering.
