The 29th Annual General Meeting of the Electrical Engineering Society (EESoc), University of Moratuwa, was held on 12th August 2025 at the Civil Engineering Auditorium, with the participation of academic staff and undergraduates. The event featured addresses by Dr. V. Logeeshan, former President, and Prof. Anura Wijayapala, Head of the Department, followed by the presentation of annual reports and appreciation tokens to outgoing office bearers.
The newly elected Executive Board is led by Dr. Rasara Samarasinghe as President, Eng. Terashmila Lasagani as Senior Treasurer, and Mr. Samod Dharmaraja and Mr. Shashindu Dilhara as Vice Presidents. Several new initiatives were proposed to enhance research visibility, strengthen industry collaboration, and increase student engagement, marking the beginning of another impactful year for EESoc.
