| LTL Laboratory is a gift provided by LTL Transformers Pvt. Ltd in year 2016. The loaboratory project was completed successfully with the collaboration of LTL Transformers, University of Moratuwa and the Pioneer Engineering Batch, which is the first engineering batch at the University of Moratuwa marking 50 years of entering to the university. This laboratory modernize the electrical machines laboratory to meet the current higher technological standards. LTL Laboratory consists of different test setups which facilitate to observe the different characteristics of electrical machines and drives. Currently this laboratory is utilized in Adjustable speed induction motor drives laboratory session. The test setup consists of an three phase induction motor with phase controlled converter, a six step inverter. |
