3rd Summer School on Cognitive Robotics was held from 17-21 July 2019 in the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California. The school covered recent technologies which resulted in breakthroughs in the field of AI, especially, Deep Reinforcement Learning, Multiagent Systems, Adaptive Learning, Socially Assistive Robotics, and AI in Space. The event was organized by Dr. Sara Bernadini, the chair, with Asst. Prof. Heather Culbertson, the local co-chair. Researchers from reputed institutes in the USA tutored the event, including, JPL, MIT, USC, Carnegie Mellon University and Georgia Tech. From the experience of the participant, summer schools are an efficient way of gathering state-of-the-art technologies used in a certain discipline within a very short period of time. Hence, an excellent opportunity for the research students especially in the beginning or the first year of their research.
