The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) offers full graduate scholarships—including tuition, a monthly stipend, health insurance, and round-trip airfare—to nationals from developing countries with professional experience in development-related fields. Applications will be accepted through two upcoming windows: January 16 to February 26, 2027, and March 29 to May 21, 2027. To apply, candidates must meet specific criteria such as holding a bachelor's degree earned at least three years prior, having at least three years of professional experience, and securing unconditional admission to a participating master's program. We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications from students for the RISE (Research Internships in Science & Engineering) @ IITK, a research internship program offering foreign students the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research across various domains and be mentored by faculty at IIT Kanpur.

RISE @ IITK is divided into two modules – a 4-week virtual winter internship in December 2026 and an offline 6–8-week summer internship in 2027.
