The Association of Commonwealth Universities shares the June edition of Synthesis, featuring the latest news and funding opportunities, along with stimulating events organised by the ACU's members and partners around the Commonwealth.

Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID) is offering Scholarships for the foreign students for full-time, in-person in Mexico at the Master's and Doctoral levels, student mobility at the undergraduate and Master's levels, as well as postgraduate.

Foreign applicants could submit their application electronically through the Academic Cooperation Management System (SIGCA).

The application registration must be in Spanish and the applicants are expected to have basic knowledge of Spanish.

Sri Lankan students to apply for a Master Program on Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry at the Chemistry Department of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosav, which developed together with JSC “Rusatom Healthcare”

 The programme is conducted offline for 2 years in English language on payment basis with a possibility to obtain free scholarship from IAEA on competitive basis.

University of La Verne Scholarship Notice

Applications are now open for the Exchange Programs that will be held at University of La Verne, California. The University of Moratuwa students and faculty are eligible for a limited number of partial scholarships, awarded based on merit and how early postulants apply.

ULV, is one of the most traditional and respected American Universities. Founded in 1891, it’s a non-profit, private institution, associated to a foundation that supports education for students from emerging countries. Eligibility Criteria

Any student who, by the time of the chosen intake, has met all three requirements below:

• Being 18 years old.
• Having successfully completed the 4th semester of undergraduate degree or currently a postgraduate student for the Advanced programs.
• Having at least an intermediate level of proficiency in English.

Steps of the process

• Complete the online Application.
• Applications will be accepted starting May 09th.
• In the online application, you will be asked to briefly describe the reason you are applying for this scholarship and describe how the program will help you attain your personal and/or professional goals.
• Delivery of final documentation by the selected candidates in this selection process.
• Scholarship recipients will be notified individually after 10 days.

Australia Awards Scholarships

Australia Awards Scholarships are long-term awards administered by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. They aim to contribute to the development needs of Australia’s partner countries in line with bilateral and regional agreements.

They provide opportunities for people from developing countries, particularly those countries located in the Indo-Pacific region, to undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions.
