WE ARE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CENTER FOR SUPPLY CHAIN, OPERATIONS, AND LOGISTICS OPTIMIZATION (SCOLO), THE LATEST MULTIDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH CENTER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MORATUWA.
SCOLO connects accomplished researchers from six departments across three faculties within the university, along with strong collaborations with over twenty universities across five continents. The primary objective of SCOLO is to conduct high-impact research in the fields of Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics from a quantitative perspective, supporting the growth of both the University of Moratuwa and Sri Lanka. SCOLO aims to collaborate closely with industry to create a platform for industry–academia engagement within the logistics and supply chain domains in Sri Lanka. Funding secured through the NORHED II grant from the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation will further strengthen the success and sustainability of the center.
