Overview
MESII brings together students, researchers, industry professionals and other stakeholders to present research outcomes, discuss technological adoption, and explore collaborations that move industry towards sustainable, material-driven solutions.
Objectives
- Serve as a platform to strengthen ties between industry and the department and promote closer collaboration.
- Provide undergraduates and postgraduates an opportunity to present research to academia and professionals.
- Encourage industry to adopt advanced processing techniques and smart materials for a sustainable future.
- Inspire engineers and researchers to pursue novel and innovative solutions.

How to Participate
- Students: Submit abstracts via the department call-for-papers before the advertised deadline.
- Industry partners: Register for exhibition stalls, evaluation panels, or presentation sessions.
- Researchers & alumni: Volunteer as reviewers, judges or guest speakers to strengthen the industry–academia dialogue.
