A presentation titled “A career in Landscape Architecture - power to transform places” was made to the students of the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture by Landscape Architect Wendy Wright.
Wendy Wright is the Principal Landscape Architect of Harrogate borough council, UK, with over two decades of experience. She visited the Department of Architecture on 13th Feb 2014 and made a visual presentation followed by a lively discussion with Level 2 BLA students. The lecture showcased the economic, social, environmental and health benefits that well designed landscapes add, both in rural and urban sectors. She stressed on the critical role played by landscape architects in the development process and the students were able to understand the responsibilities and the potential of a career in Landscape Architecture.
