The His Royal Highness Crown Prince of Malaysia who is the Chancellor of University of Malaya Perlis, the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and some officials including Malaysian High Commissioner visited University of Moratuwa

The DAAD (Deutscher  Academischer  Austausch Dienst, German Academic Exchange Service)  is the world's largest funding organization for the international exchange of students & researchers which consist of regional offices funding for exchange programs all over the world. Dr. Manjula Mundakana, Senior Adviser for Consulate General for Germany in Bangalore, India and Mr. Jorn Rohde, German Ambassador for Sri Lanka, visited University of Moratuwa on 08th March 2017 as representatives of DAAD.

Dr. Jawad Syed, the Dean & Professor of Suleman Dawood School of Business ,Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan visited University of Moratuwa (UOM) on 10th March 2017 as a part of their international expansion strategy to network with academic institutions and to enroll Sri Lankan students to MBA programs of LUMS under full scholarships funded by Asian Development Bank. LUMS is keen on building partnerships in the areas of research collaborations, faculty collaborations and other forms of partnerships.
