A special guest lecture on "Cities for People" was held on Feb. 25, 2012 at German Cultural Centre, Colombo. The speakers were, Prof. Jan Gehl (denmark), Prof. Frank Schweitzer and Mr. Thomas Siedow. (Germany) 

A special lecture on "changing shape of Kandy city; urban design perspective" was delivered by Arct. Plnr. Dr. Janaka Wijesundara at SLIA Regional Conference in Kandy held on Sept. 21, 2012.

The applications are called for the Urban Design Students Intake 2017/18. The deadline of the application submission will be on January 15th, 2017. The applications forma can be downloaded from the Admissions section of this website.
