The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) Sri Lanka Group has organized a competition to explore the IMechE Young M e m b e r s ’ design skills to fight COVID-19 pandemic. The objective has been to assess the design strengths of the young members to battle the global crisis. The final evaluation was held online on 29th May 2020.

Prof. PG Rathnasiri from the Department of  Chemical Engineering has established an international collaboration with laboratory of environmental biotechnology, Narbonne, France.

In line with the internationalization strategy of the University of Moratuwa, the Department of Textile and Clothing Technology is collaboratively working with the Birmingham City University (BCU), United Kingdom, as the host institution of a staff mobility project funded by the International Credit Mobility Scheme, Erasmus +.
