Kochi University of Technology (KUT) is pleased to announce the SSP Online Information Session, scheduled for January 22nd (Wednesday), 2025, at 6:30 PM Japan Standard Time (JST). This session will provide valuable insights into the Special Scholarship Program (SSP) and will include an introduction to the research topics of our esteemed faculty members.

Introduction to KUT’s International Programs
Special Scholarship Program (SSP)
KUT offers a prestigious 3-year English-medium doctoral program through the SSP. The program is designed for exceptional students from our partner institutions, providing them with an opportunity to engage in advanced research and academic collaboration.

Scholarship for Master’s International Students
Starting in 2024, KUT has expanded eligibility for its master’s scholarship program to include all partner institutions with agreements.
Scholarship Benefits:
- Waiver of examination, admission, and tuition fees for two years.
- Monthly stipend of 50,000 yen.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Excellent academic performance in bachelor’s degree.
- Recommendation from a partner institution.
- Strong motivation to pursue a PhD at KUT.
