- visit files.uom.lk/ESRI download the latest version of ArcGIS Desktop. Please note that to visit files.uom.lk you must connect to the university network or use our External Web Proxy Service.
- Start the installation by executing the downloaded executable file. and continue with the setup by clicking Next.
- Once you reach the "setup program" a new setup page will be launched. Please use the below guidelines.
- Click on "Authorize Now".
- Click on the third radio button, browse and point to the "key file" provided to you upon your request, and click Next.
- Click "Authorize with Esri now using the Internet" then click Next.
- Check your information and then click Next.
- Set the parameters as in the below image and then click Next.
- Click Next on the next window.
- Next, you will see your activation details. Do not be alarmed if you don't see any activation details. Just click Next.
- Do not try to activate the evaluation licenses on extensions. The available extensions will be activated automatically. Just click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Then you will be prompted with an evaluation window. Click on "Availability" then you can see your activations.
