The Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of the New Multi-Purpose Building for the Faculty of Engineering at University of Moratuwa was held on 05th September 2014. The chief guest of the ceremony was Former Vice Chancellor Dr. GTF De Silva, The Chancellor Professor Emeritus KKYW Perera, Vice Chancellor Professor Ananda Jayewardane, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Heads of the Departments, Academic and Non-Academic Staff, Works Engineer, Supervisors and Students were present at this ceremony.
