The Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Directors (CVCD) introduced in 2006 a scheme of awards called “CVCD Excellence Awards” to be awarded once in two years to recognize, appreciate and honor the outstanding contributions and accomplishments in research, innovation and invention by the staff in the University system. So far the CVCD Excellence Awards were made in 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012 and applications are now called for CVCD Awards 2014. The closing date for applications is 30th June 2014.
