Her Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Sri Lanka Dr. (Mrs.) Indira Lopez Arguelles, together with secretary of the embassy Mr.Wilfred Jayasinghe visited the University of Moratuwa on May 5, 2014. The purpose of the visit was to establish collaboration between key higher education institutes in Cuba and the University of Moratuwa particularly in areas of biotechnology, pharmaceutical bio-medical and appropriate staff and student exchange programs in view international recognition.
