The Convocation for Postgraduate Degrees of the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka will be held on 25th March 2024 from 2.00 p.m. onwards at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) for the conferment of Postgraduate Degrees/Diplomas to all those who have successfully completed the Postgraduate Degree/Diploma Examinations conducted by the Faculties of Architecture, Business, Engineering, Information Technology and the Faculty of Graduate Studies of the University of Moratuwa. The Chancellor of the University, Professor Monte Cassim will preside the Ceremony.
A total of 317 graduands will receive their Postgraduate degrees and Diplomas. This includes 227 graduands from the Faculty of Engineering, including 9 doctoral students. The Faculty of Architecture will confer 42 Postgraduate Degrees and Diplomas, while the Faculty of Business will confer 41 Postgraduate Degrees and Diplomas. Additionally, 7 Postgraduate degrees and Diplomas will be conferred upon graduands of the Faculty of Information Technology, including 1 PhD.
The event will be broadcasted live on the University website (www.uom.lk), University YouTube Channel and Peo TV (PEO TV Channel No 120 Event TV Plus) for interested viewers to watch the proceedings of the Convocation.
