Prof. (Ms.) Dulani Meedeniya, Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, is among the prestigious Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List 2025, that highlights the world’s leading scientists who have made a substantial impact in their respective fields through their citation influence. For researchers, institutions, and science enthusiasts alike, this is a vital resource to recognize excellence and track cutting-edge scientific contributions.

Visit of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia – Delegation to the University of Moratuwa

The University of Moratuwa hosted a delegation from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia, on 26th August 2025. The visit was initiated and coordinated by the International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM).

The following representatives from the Faculty of Business and the International Relations Office of the University of Moratuwa participated in the meeting:

  • Prof. G.D. Samarasinghe, Dean, Faculty of Business

  • Dr. G.V.I. Samaradivakara, Director/International Relations

  • Dr. (Ms.) H.L. Liyanage, Senior Lecturer, Department of Management of Technology

  • Dr. (Ms.) K.D.A.M. Gunawardana, Senior Lecturer, Department of Decision Science

  • Mr. W.M.S.N.F. Rajakarunanayake, Senior Lecturer, Department of Industrial Management

  • Ms. Yashodara Karunarathne, Assistant Registrar, External Affairs, Publicity and International Student Promotion Division

During the discussions, both parties explored the potential for a wide range of academic and research collaborations. It was also agreed to proceed with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further strengthen the partnership between the two institutions.
