40TH GENERAL CONVOCATION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MORATUWA


The 40th General Convocation of University of Moratuwa (UoM)  was held on 3rd and 4th September 2019  with all its glory and pride at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in four sessions. The Chancellor of the University, Vidya Jyothi Professor Emeritus KKYW Perera, presided the Convocation Ceremony. It was attended by the graduands with their parents, distinguished invitees, as well as the academic and administrative staff of the University. 

Presentations at International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing (ICAISC) 2019

When

H.M. Ravindu T. Bandara, B.M.S.S. Basnayake and K.S. Priyanayana postgraduate research students of intelligent service robotics group, Department of Electrical Engineering, presented three research papers at 19th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing ICAISC 2019 held from 21-25th June in Mercure Zakopane Kasprowy Hotelm, Zakopane, Poland.  The three papers titled “A Conceptual Model to Improve Understanding of Distance Related Uncertain Information”, “Enhancing Cognitive Virtual Maps for Domestic Service Robots by Adapting the Users Perception on Uncertain Information Based on the Robot Experience: a Neural Network Approach” and  “Enhancing Human-Robot Interaction by Amalgamating Spatial and Attribute Based Cognitive Maps of Assistive Robot”.
