The Department of Management of Technology (MoT) at University of Moratuwa was founded in 1998, to accommodate the increasing demand for the discipline of Technology Management education and training program in Sri Lanka. The Department of MoT is the only academic department in the university system dedicated to cater the Technology Management needs. With the programs of teaching and researches in the areas of business and technology management at MoT, you’ll not only keep pace with that change — you’ll drive it. We are rendering our services to many undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Engineering though we have become a part of the Faculty of Business recently. In addition to the undergraduate studies, we also offer high quality postgraduate education such as Master of Business Administration (MBA in Management of Technology & MBA in entrepreneurship), Postgraduate Diploma in Management of Technology, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D. degrees by research and industry oriented short courses in the same sphere. Further, we are willing to undertake tailor made short –term training programs on request by the industry.
