The academic staff from the Department of Facilities Management at the University of Moratuwa visited Machinery Testing and Trial Unit (MTTU), Welisara for an awareness programme, generously hosted by the MTTU of Naval Base Welisara on August 16, 2023. This transformative experience equipped our educators with cutting-edge maintenance techniques, including infrared thermography, ultrasound analysis, vibration analysis, and oil analysis. Armed with this knowledge, our esteemed lecturers are well-prepared to inspire and educate our students, ensuring that the next generation of facility managers are equipped with the skills needed for efficient maintenance practices.
