The first-ever ICExpo Exhibition organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering was held on Friday, 24th October 2025, at the SLIoT Lab, as part of the 40th Anniversary Celebration Series of the department.

A total of sixteen innovative projects were showcased by Intake 2022 students from the Integrated Computer Engineering Stream, based on the individual projects they completed during Semester 5. The IntelliSense Lab facilitated the majority of these projects, providing technical guidance and resources.

The exhibition was declared open by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. D. P. Chandrasekara, in the presence of engineers from SLT-Mobitel and senior academics of the department.

After its inception as an academic member of IBM OpenPOWER foundation in March 2018, the first meeting was held in the Integrated Computer Engineering (ICE) conference room in CSE on the 16th May 2018.
