Career
October 2013 - March 2014 - Intern, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Amagasaki, Japan Advanced Technology Research Center; Researched the ability to incorporate tactile array sensors into an assembly robot gripper in order to identify collisions between assembly parts and calculate locations of such collision. This ability helped the robot to carry out complex assembly operations.
March 2011 - September 2011 - Mechanical engineer, AeroSense Pvt. Ltd, Sri Lanka; Maintenance engineer in the Airbus A350 force sensors production line
August 2010 - March 2011 - Design engineer, Japan International Corporation Agency, Sri Lanka; Was a design engineer for a project (MEMS technology transfer project) at Sri Lanka Institute of Nano Technology where MEMS three axis accelerometer sensor and a pressure sensor were designed.
