International conference on Civil Engineering and Applications (ICCEA2019) is the first in a series of annual conferences planned by the Department of Civil Engineering at University of Moratuwa. This conference will bring together reputed academics and practitioners from all over the world providing a forum to share new knowledge in the discipline. This year there will be 14 keynote lectures by eminent professionals covering a wide range of topics that are very relevant in the present day context. The conference will also provide an opportunity for researchers from Sri Lanka and overseas to publish and present their findings to an international audience.
All research papers submitted are peer reviewed and most outstanding papers will be published as a special issue in the Journal of Building Research and Information by Taylor and Francis Group. A selected group of postgraduate and undergraduate students in Civil Engineering in Sri Lankan Universities are invited to participate with full sponsorship giving them much needed guidance and encouragement to overcome many challenges they face in their careers. The organisers cordially invite the Engineering community in general to take part in this special event.
