Conference Themes

The conference will focus on the combined themes of Facilities Management and Environment, Safety, and Health, reflecting FaMRU's diverse research strengths. Some key areas to be explored include:

Occupational safety in modern workplaces

Workplace hazards and risk management; safety culture and employee well-being; regulatory compliance and modern safety standards; emerging technologies for safety monitoring; adaptive safety measures in dynamic environments.

Facilities management and its impact on building performance

Building maintenance strategies and resource optimization; performance monitoring and evaluation; sustainable facilities operations; user satisfaction and productivity enhancement; lifecycle management of facilities.

The role of technology in enhancing workplace safety and facility efficiency

Integration of IoT, AI, and automation in safety systems; digital tools for facility monitoring and optimization; predictive maintenance and operational efficiency; advanced analytics for risk mitigation; innovative technology-driven solutions.

Managing the circular economy, waste, and emissions in large facilities

Adoption of circular economy principles in facility operations; waste reduction and resource recovery strategies; emission control and carbon footprint minimization; sustainable material management; environmental impact assessments.

Climate resilience in facilities management

Author Guidelines for FMF 2025

If the paper is selected after the review process, authors are expected to address reviewers' comments and submit a revised, camera-ready version. The review process takes approximately two months, after which authors will be notified of the final decision along with reviewer feedback. Authors submitting full papers to the FME 2025 conference are eligible to apply for FME Awards by submitting the required application before the deadline.

Scientific Papers

Authors are invited to submit full papers that present completed research and include a detailed description of their study. Papers should be structured into the following sections: Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Conclusions, Acknowledgements (if applicable), and References. The paper must adhere to the formatting requirements and be limited to 10-12 pages, inclusive of figures, tables, and references. Submissions exceeding this page limit will not be accepted. 

Technical papers

Authors are invited to submit full papers that present detailed accounts of technical work or findings. Submissions should provide a comprehensive explanation of the research and include the following sections: Abstract, Introduction, Background, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, and References. Papers must adhere to the prescribed formatting guidelines and should be limited to 5-6 pages, inclusive of figures, tables, and references. Submissions exceeding this page limit will not be considered.
