About Us

In 2014, University of Moratuwa has established Cisco Networking Center under the Center for IT Services (CITeS) for students to gain the skills needed to build, design, and maintain computer networks to improving their career prospects while filling the demand for networking professionals.

The rapid growth of networks has created a global shortage of people who are qualified to implement and maintain networking solutions, especially in places where networks are being built to promote economic development. At the same time, people need access to better training and career opportunities to successfully compete in the global economy. Cisco Networking Center addresses to the growing demand for networking professionals in Sri Lanka.

The partnership of the pioneer of the networking education, Cisco Networking Academy helps to provide 21st century learning experience to Sri Lankan students to design, build, and manage networks, along with career skills such as problem solving, collaboration, and critical thinking. The Cisco Networking Academy is providing innovative technologies to us to make this journey success.
