First session on ‘Handy Handwork’ was conducted on Friday, 22nd November, 2013. To improve creative thinking as well skills in handwork, Mrs. Indu Malalgoda, Mrs. Nayomi Sithari and Ms. Chethani Lakmali together with Mr. Thushara Bandaranayake created a tree using kids’ hand-prints. Mrs. Indu Malalgoda made this event to educate students about plant-world as well as its variety. Mr. Melro Mendis provided the technical assistance.
