The Department of Architecture, University of Moratuwa took part in the Architect 2014 Exhibition held at BMICH Colombo from 19th to 23rd February 2014.
Architectural design work of the students from levels 1 to 5 were displayed in the University of Moratuwa stall with emphasis on the 2013 final year Comprehensive Design Projects. A large number of visitors including the Minister of Economic Development, Basil Rajapaksa visited the stall. In addition, level 4 students of the Department of Architecture made a presentation at the National Conference on Architecture under the theme of: “Architecture, Envisioning Futures” on 21st February 2014, and was well received by the audience consisting of foreign and local architects.
The exhibition is an annual event held by the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects and the Department has been a continuous participant for the last decade.
