The aim of this course is to provide students with the required theoretical knowledge and practical skills on basic web development concepts based on PHP and MySQL in compliance with international and industry standards.
Target Group & Entry Requirement
- The participants should have at least two passes in GCE A/L Examination
- At least 6 months of work experience in an IT related field

Duration : Twelve days of 4 hour sessions (48 hrs)
Location : Faculty of Information Technology, University of Moratuwa
Course Fee :Rs. 20 000 /= per participant
Tentative Dates
From 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM on 12 consecutive Sundays. Starting date will be notified after the registration. The course will accommodate 30 participants.
Assessment Scheme
- Examination 60%
- Lab Assignments 40%
*Minimum 40% of each component should be obtained.
Performance Criteria
The Certificate will indicate the performance as one of
- “Distinction” (>=75%),
- “Pass with Merit” (55-74%),
- “Pass” (40-54%).
A letter of participation will be issued to the participants who have more than 75% of attendance.
