Introduction

Dr. Logeeshan Velmanickam obtained his B.Sc. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with First Class Honors in October 2014 from the University of Peradeniya. Upon graduation, he worked as a temporary instructor for ten months at the same university. In August 2015, he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, North Dakota State University (NDSU), USA to pursue doctoral studies with full scholarship. During his Ph.D. studies he received several merit scholarships and awards, which includes NDSU Graduate School Doctoral Dissertation Award, NDSU College of Engineering Graduate Researcher of the Year and NDSU Graduate Researcher of the Year. He completed his Ph.D. in August 2019 with “Summa Cum Laude Honors”. Since October 2019 he is attached with the Department of Electrical Engineering University of Moratuwa.
