Above is an overview of my research where I work on many areas related to data generation, transmission, and processing in Peer-to-Peer, High Performance, and Cloud Computing; Distributed Systems; and Wired and Wireless Sensor Networks. I am particularly interested in the applicability of those areas to interdisciplinary problems. My research is centered on the characterization of real-world resource, application, and user behavior in those domains, and use of those characteristics to develop novel solutions that are more efficient, scalable, secure, and apt to real-world systems. My past research was on developing virtual networks within a wireless sensor network to enhance the resource utilization, logically separate multipurpose sensor networks, support geographically overlapped applications, and enable secure communication.
