Eligibility Criteria
- The Degree of Bachelor of the Science of Engineering of the University of Moratuwa in Electrical Engineering;
OR
- Any other Engineering Degree of at least four years duration in a relevant field of specialization, as may be approved by the Senate;
OR

All lectures, practical sessions, presentations, industrial visits, and examinations will normally be conducted on weekends. Those candidates who successfully complete the credit requirement including the project will be awarded the Degree of Master of Intelligent and Automation Systems.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The Degree of Bachelor of the Science of Engineering of the University of Moratuwa specializing in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Computer Engineering; or
- Any other engineering degree of at least four years duration, from a recognised University, in a relevant field as may be approved by the Senate; or
- Any Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree of at least four years duration, from a recognised University, in a relevant field as may be approved by the Senate; or
- A degree in Engineering, Technology or Science of at least three years duration from a recognized university in a relevant field of specialization with a minimum of one year of recognized appropriate experience obtained after the degree AND a Postgraduate Certificate in Industrial Automation or in an equivalent field, as may be approved by the Senate; or
- Any recognized category of membership of a recognized Professional Institute, obtained through an academic route, with a minimum of one year of recognized appropriate experience obtained after the membership, as may be approved by the Senate.
