Final meeting of EUSL Energy project held at Hikkaduwa and University of Ruhuna

The final meeting of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building project EUSL Energy was held at Hotel Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon, Hikkaduwa, and the Department of Marine Engineering, University of Ruhuna, Galle from 14th - 18th June 2023 with the participation of both EU and SL project members including UoM project members from Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering and Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Representing the University of Moratuwa, Prof. Udayanga Hemapala, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, and Prof. Shantha Egodage, Head of the Department, Department of Chemical and Process Engineering attended the panel discussion on ‘Future of Global Higher Education in a Collaborative High Quality Environment and Role of Sri Lankan Universities’. A full-day meeting with the first intake of MSc in Energy for Circular Economy was also held to get their feedback for further improvements of the MSc program.

In parallel to the final project meeting, a workshop on ‘Administrative Support for Internationalization’ was held at Hotel Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon, Hikkaduwa on 16th June 2023 for administrative staff of project partners.
