Dr. Thushara Subasinghe, a senior lecturer attached to the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, has recently been appointed as a member of the Advisory Committee for the Paint, Printing Materials, and Chemical Industries Sector within the Ministry of Industries. This appointment is set to extend over a period of two years, during which Dr. Subasinghe will able make substantial
contributions to the Ministry's mission of formulating effective policies and regulations. With his expertise and knowledge, he aims to support the improvement of the sector and foster its sustainability, bringing forth positive changes that will benefit both the industry and the nation as a whole.
