The genesis of CITeS can be traced back to the 1990s when it was established to cater to the University's computer maintenance needs. Subsequently, in 2017, CITeS underwent a transformative evolution with the creation of the Training & Development Division, in alignment with the newly approved organizational structure by the Council.
At present, the Training and Development Division is actively engaged in delivering a spectrum of training programs. These encompass proprietary courses developed in-house, as well as internationally recognized programs such as the Cisco Networking Academy and AWS Academy training initiatives. This multifaceted approach underscores UoM's commitment to nurturing a technically adept and globally competitive cohort of professionals in the field of networking.
